"STUDIO OF THE FUTURE" SWEEPSTAKES

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER ON DATE OF ENTRY AND WHO HAVE ONLINE ACCESS BEFORE MAY 1, 2008.

1. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the U.S., who are 18 years of age or older on date of entry and have online access before May 1, 2008. Employees of The Weather Channel, Inc. ("Sponsor"), Cisco Sytems, Inc., GameSafe, Inc. and their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents ("Sponsor and its agents") and members of their immediate family (defined as spouse, children, parents, in-laws, siblings and/or members of a same household) are not eligible.

2. HOW TO ENTER: Via the Internet: Between 12:00 AM ET on May 1, 2008 and 11:59:59 PM ET on May 31, 2008, log on to www.weather.com, click on the sweepstakes banner to access the entry form and rules, then complete and submit the electronic entry form. In order for electronic entries to be valid, entrants must click the "Submit" button. Internet entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on May 31, 2008. Incomplete or ineligible entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software, or lost, late, incomplete, garbled or misdirected entries. Sponsor is not responsible for problems downloading entries from the website or for any other technical problems related to online entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Limit one entry per person or email address per day. Subsequent entries from the same person or email address during the same 24-hour period will be disqualified. Any attempt by a person to enter more than once per day, whether with multiple email accounts or otherwise, may result in disqualification at the discretion of the Sponsor upon prize verification. In the event that the Sweepstakes becomes infected by a computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other technical failure, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, and to select the winners from eligible entries received prior to the modification or termination of the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

3. DRAWING: Winners will be selected on or about June 4, 2008, in a random drawing, from all eligible entries received by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

4. PRIZE AND ODDS OF WINNING: Grand Prize (one winner): Trip for winner and up to three (3) guests to Atlanta, Georgia. Trip includes round-trip coach airfare for winner and guest from a major airport near winner's residence to Atlanta, Georgia (flights may include connections), lodging for three (3) nights (accommodations selected by Sponsor or its agency, quad- or double-occupancy, subject to availability and restrictions), a rental car for four (4) days (subject to availability, restrictions and car rental company requirements), $500 and a tour of The Weather Channel studio in Atlanta. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of trip for two to Atlanta is $3,900. Actual value of Grand Prize depends on point of departure, season of travel, airfare at time of booking and other contingencies. Any taxes or other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner, including meals, additional ground transportation, gratuities and personal expenses. The winner and guests must lodge together and travel together on the same itinerary to and from the same major airport nearest winner's residence. All travel will occur on carrier(s) of Sponsor's choice. Winner and guests will be required to have photo identification (such as driver's license) in order to receive travel documents. Travel must be completed by May 1, 2009. No extensions will be granted. Travel is subject to availability and reservations must be completed at least 60 days prior to departure date. Certain blackout periods and additional travel restrictions may apply. Potential winner will be notified by electronic mail (email) and confirmed via certified mail or other overnight delivery method at the address provided on the entry form, and will be required to complete, sign, notarize and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release which must be received by Sponsor within seven (7) days of the date on the notification or prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner selected. Each guest of the Grand Prize winner must complete, sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to issuance of travel documents. If a guest is a minor, such documents must be signed by his/her parent or legal guardian. If a selected potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to claim the prize, is disqualified, fails to return the completed and executed Affidavit and Releases as required, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, an alternate potential winner will be selected by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received. Prizes are not transferable. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prize (or portion thereof) will be allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize, or portion(s) thereof, with a prize of equal value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Any difference between estimated and actual value of prize will not be awarded. Total ARV: $2,250. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by 11:59:59 PM ET on May 31, 2008.

5. GENERAL: By entering, entrants agree: (1) to release Sponsor and its agents from all liability, loss or damage arising out of their participation in the Sweepstakes and with respect to their acceptance and use/misuse of the prize; (2) to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor's Privacy Policy and website Terms and Conditions; and (3) that the decisions of the judges are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name and likeness, including film, video, audio and photography taken during the tour at The Weather Channel, for advertising and promotional purposes in all media worldwide (including the Internet) without additional compensation, except if winner is a resident of TN or where otherwise prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for the actual value of his/her prize and may be required to fill out a W-9 form.
